Participant Safety

The safety of all participants, volunteers, and spectators is our top priority. We work closely with local authorities, medical teams, and event staff to ensure a safe race environment.

• Trained medical personnel will be stationed along the course and at the finish area
• Clearly marked aid stations will provide water and basic first aid
• Emergency contact procedures are in place for rapid response

All staff and volunteers are briefed on emergency protocols

If you feel unwell during the race, stop at the nearest aid station or alert a race official immediately.

Severe Weather Policy

Weather conditions are continuously monitored leading up to and during the event. Decisions will be made with guidance from local safety authorities.

Potential Weather Scenarios:

• Heat: Start times may be adjusted, additional hydration stations added, or race distance modified
• Rain: The event will proceed in light to moderate rain unless conditions become unsafe
• Thunderstorms / Lightning: Race may be delayed, paused, or cancelled
• Extreme Conditions (e.g. high winds, flooding): Course alterations or full cancellation may occur

Event Modifications or Cancellation

If conditions pose a risk to participants:

• The race start may be delayed
• The course may be shortened or rerouted
• The event may be cancelled if safety cannot be reasonably ensured
• All decisions are final and made in the interest of public safety.

Participants will be informed of any changes via:

• Email (to registered participants)
• Official website updates
• Social media channels
• On-site announcements on race day

We recommend checking your email and our website before traveling to the event.

Refund Policy

As this is an outdoor event, weather-related changes are a possibility.

• Entry fees are generally non-refundable
• In the case of cancellation, options such as deferral, partial refunds, or virtual participation may be offered at the organizer’s discretion
